Wat Sutthawas, in collaboration with Wat Sutthawas School, organized the Young Buddhist Ceremony Leader Training Program to encourage children and young people to develop their knowledge and understanding of Buddhism, as well as to learn the roles, responsibilities, and proper etiquette required when participating in Buddhist religious ceremonies.
The opening ceremony was presided over by:
ð Venerable Phra Maha Thavorn Thanavaro, P.Th.9, Ph.D.
District Ecclesiastical Head of Bang Lamung
Abbot of Wat Sutthawas
Venerable Phra Maha Thavorn graciously delivered words of guidance and encouragement to the participants, with the aim of inspiring children and young people to apply Buddhist principles, discipline, responsibility, and a spirit of volunteer service in their daily lives.
This program represents meaningful cooperation between Home, Temple, and School in cultivating morality, ethical values, and social responsibility among young people. It follows the âBOWONâ principle of community collaboration and helps prepare a new generation to contribute to the preservation of Buddhism and the development of a strong and responsible society.
Wat Sutthawas sincerely rejoices in the merit and expresses its appreciation to the school administrators, teachers, parents, monks, children, and young people whose dedication and unity made this program possible.
âMoral youth, strong Buddhism, empowered communities, and a sustainable society.â
May this training program successfully achieve its objectives and provide lasting knowledge, values, and benefits to every participating child and young person.
ð We rejoice in the merit of everyone involved. Sadhu. ð
