Morning Session

Participants experienced a morning filled with a variety of merit-making activities, including the Skyward Robe Offering Ceremony (Pha Pa Loi Fa), the casting of candles for Buddhist Lent to preserve the Buddhist tradition, offerings of Sanghadana (monk requisites), alms-giving to monks, and offering breakfast to the clergy. Additionally, participants presented rain-bathing robes (pha aab nam fon) and listened to auspicious Dhamma sermons. The session concluded with a significant ceremony led by the Nongprue Municipality, in which the group jointly offered Buddhist Lent candles. The atmosphere was truly filled with deep faith and heartfelt joy.

Evening Session

In the evening, participants came together to cast Buddhist Lent candles as an offering to the monastic community, gaining great merit. They also took part in the Skyward Robe Offering Ceremony, a beautiful expression of unified faith. Following that, devout Buddhists joined in chanting evening prayers and circumambulated the ordination hall (ubosot) with lighted candles in hand. Amid the soft glow of candlelight, the sincerity and faith of all present created a truly touching atmosphere. The overall ambiance was filled with joy and deep spiritual serenity.

May we rejoice in the merit with everyone who took part in this virtuous event. May the merits you have made bring you lasting happiness, success, and prosperity in all aspects of your life.
